Due to health reasons, we had to change our opening hours.
Thanks for your understanding.
Opening hours:
Friday to Sunday: 5pm to last reservation (latest 8pm)
Kitchen closes 30 min. before closing time.
Monday to Thursday closed
Please make a reservation latest until 2 pm at the day you want to come, if possible.
We have only fresh meat and might run out, if we don't know how many people are coming.
We can also have more staff in, if necessary, so we can serve you better.
We would love to welcome you in our restaurant!
Haus Falkenstein is the place for German Schnitzel in Edmonton.
We offer authentic German Schnitzel. Always freshly cut, hand breaded and pan fried.
With our wide variety of toppings there will be one for everybody's taste.
Enjoy a German beer with your meal, always more than 14 different kinds available.
Try our homemade potato croquettes or Westphalian potato salad.
Please familiarize yourself with our menu, our food and see our photo gallery below.
Information
- In your own interest: Do not park in front of the signs at the first 6 stalls, where it says "no restaurant parking before 10 pm". Our "oh so nice" neighbours will call a tow truck without warning! There is plenty of free parking in front of the building and on both sides of the little road between the parking lot and 111 Ave.
- Reservations help us with our preparation. If you know it ahead, please let us know that you are coming before 2 pm. We cut our meat fresh every day and if we have only 10 people booked, we might have not enough when there are too many walk-ins. If we need to cut meat in between, you and others have to wait longer for your food.
- We don't mind if you share appetizers, sides or desserts, but no entrees please. We have half sizes if you are not that hungry.
- We do NOT ask for a percentage of gratuity for larger groups. Tips are totally up to you!
- We offer take out, please order your Schnitzel by name when you call. If we are too busy, it might not be possible though. Thanks for your understanding.
- We do have gift certificates. If you can't come in to pick one up, you can send a check or e-transfer and we will mail the certificate to you.
- We normally don't bring the bill right after you finished your meal. In Germany you let the server know when you want to pay. Feel free to stay as long as you want (unless we close or need the table for someone else).
- We don't offer cake for dessert, we just don't sell enough because our portions are pretty big. You can bring your own birthday cake, if you like (with paper plates please).
- We do not offer pork hocks. We don't have the equipment for that in our kitchen.
